 Wuhan Comega Seed Co., Ltd is a sub-company, formed by Hubei Jingchu Seed Co., Ltd. specializes in international cooperation and marketing for its breeding achievements of both field and horticultural crops. It is located in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province, central China.

The parent company, Hubei Jingchu Seed Co., Ltd. is one of ¡°China top 50 Seed Enterprises¡± and ¡°China National Agricultural-Industrialization Leading Enterprise¡±. It has acquired the title of ¡°Observing Contract and Valuing Credit Enterprise¡± for ten succession years. In 2007, Jingchu Hybrid paddy seed was assessed as ¡°Chinese famous brand products¡± by China central government. It has the strongest breeding ability on rice in China¡ª16 rice hybrids and 4 CMS lines have been registered and widely utilized in the market, 26 hybrids is in national testing. There are 5 hybrid cotton varieties, 5 hybrid maize and 2 hybrid rape seed varieties also have been registered. Its research center covers 10 hectares, located in Jingzhou, the most important rice cultivation area in Hubei province and Sanya, Hainan province. There are 18 qualified and experienced breeders are working in the company.

Most of our staffs of Wuhan Comega Seed Company are senior agronomist with experiences on international seed trade and technical cooperation. Several varieties of our hybrid rice are testing and demonstrating in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and some other countries, which perform very well and some of the varieties have been registered in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Vietnam. More than five million US Dollars hybrid rice seeds have been exported and more than 500ts seeds have been produced in foreign countries yearly.
